- Kapitel 20 -

1
And I saw a messenger coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain over his hand,
2
and he laid hold on the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is [the] Devil and Satan, and bound him one thousand years,
3
and he cast him into the abyss, and shut him up, and put a seal on him, that he may no longer lead the nations astray, until the one thousand years may be completed; and after these it is necessary for him to be loosed a short time.
4
And I saw thrones, and they [that] sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand, and they lived and reigned with the Christ one thousand years;
5
and the rest of the dead did not live again until the one thousand years may be completed; this [is] the first resurrection.
6
Blessed and holy—he who is having part in the first resurrection; the second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will reign with Him one thousand years.

Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire

7
And when the one thousand years may be completed, Satan will be loosed out of his prison,
8
and he will go forth to lead the nations astray, that are in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them together to war, of whom the number—as the sand of the sea;
9
and they went up over the breadth of the land, and surrounded the camp of the holy ones, and the beloved city, and there came down fire from God out of Heaven, and devoured them;
10
and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [are], and they will be tormented day and night through the ages of the ages.

Judgment before the Great White Throne

11
And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away, and no place was found for them;
12
and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls—according to their works;
13
and the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works;
14
and death and Hades were cast into the lake of the fire—this [is] the second death;
15
and if anyone was not found written in the Scroll of Life, he was cast into the lake of the fire.

Satan ist 1.000. Jahre gebunden

Und ich sah einen Engel vom Himmel herabsteigen, der hatte den Schlüssel des Abgrundes und eine große Kette in seiner Hand.

Und er ergriff den Drachen, die alte Schlange, welche der Teufel und Satan ist, und band ihn auf tausend Jahre,
3
und warf ihn in den Abgrund, und verschloss und versiegelte diesen über ihm, dass er die Völker nicht mehr verführe, bis die tausend Jahre vollendet sind, nach diesen soll er auf kurze Zeit gelöst werden.

Die Heiligen regieren mit Christus 1.000. Jahre

Und ich sah Throne, und sie setzten sich darauf, und es wurde ihnen verliehen, Gericht zu halten; und ich sah die Seelen derjenigen, welche wegen des Zeugnisses Jesu und wegen des Wortes Gottes enthauptet waren, und die das Tier und sein Bild nicht angebetet, noch dessen Malzeichen an ihrer Stirne oder an ihrer Hand angenommen hatten, und sie wurden lebendig und herrschten mit Christus tausend Jahre.

Die übrigen Toten wurden nicht lebendig, bis die tausend Jahre vollendet sein werden. Dies ist die erste Auferstehung.

Selig und heilig, wer Teil hat an der ersten Auferstehung; über diese hat der zweite Tod keine Gewalt, sondern sie werden Priester Gottes und Christi sein und mit ihm tausend Jahre herrschen.

Satanische Rebellion zerschlagen

Und wenn die tausend Jahre vollendet sein werden, wird der Satan aus seinem Gefängnisse losgelassen, und wird ausgehen und die Völker verführen, die an den vier Enden der Erde sind, Gog und Magog, und wird sie zum Kampfe versammeln, deren Zahl ist wie der Sand des Meeres.

Und sie zogen herauf über die Breite der Erde, und umringten das Heerlager der Heiligen und die geliebte Stadt.
9
Da fiel Feuer von Gott aus dem Himmel und verzehrte sie. Und der Teufel, der sie verführt, ward in den Feuer- und Schwefelpfuhl geworfen, wo auch das Tier
10
und der falsche Prophet gepeinigt werden Tag und Nacht in alle Ewigkeit.

Das Gericht des Großen Weißen Throns

Und ich sah einen großen, weißen Thron, und den, der darauf saß; vor seinem Angesicht floh die Erde und der Himmel, und es ward für sie keine Stätte gefunden.
12
Und ich sah die Toten, Groß und Klein, vor dem Throne stehend. Und Bücher wurden aufgetan, und ein anderes Buch ward geöffnet, das Buch des Lebens; und die Toten wurden gerichtet nach dem, was in den Büchern geschrieben war, gemäß ihren Werken.
13
Und das Meer gab die Toten, die in ihm waren, heraus, und der Tod und das Totenreich gaben ihre Toten, die in ihnen waren; und sie wurden gerichtet, ein jeder nach seinen Werken.
14
Und das Totenreich und der Tod wurden in den Feuerpfuhl geworfen. Dies ist der zweite Tod.
15
Und wer nicht in dem Buche des Lebens aufgezeichnet erfunden ward, wurde in dem Feuerpfuhl geworfen.
