- Kapitel 65 -

(Romans 10:1–21)

I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.

I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:

A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.

Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.

Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.

Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.

Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.

Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.

But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.

And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.

But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.

Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.

Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.

And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.

He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.

A New Heaven and a New Earth

(Revelation 21:1–8)

For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.

But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,

And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.

There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.

And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.

They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.

They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.

Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.

The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.

Die Gerechtigkeit von Gottes Gericht

(Römer 10,1-21)

Mich suchen, die vorher nicht nach mir fragten, es finden mich, die mich nicht suchten. Ich spreche: Hier bin ich, hier bin ich, zu einem Volke, das meinen Namen nicht anrief.

Ich breite meine Hände den ganzen Tag aus nach einem ungläubigen Volke, das auf einem Wege wandelt, der nicht gut ist, nach seinen Gelüsten.

Ein Volk ist es, das mich vor meinem Antlitze fort und fort zum Zorne reizt, sie schlachten in den Gärten und opfern auf den Ziegelsteinen,

sitzen in Grabesgrüften und schlafen in Götzentempeln, essen Schweinefleisch und haben unreine Brühe in ihren Schüsseln

und sie sagen: Weg von mir und komm mir nicht nahe, denn du bist unrein! Diese sind ein Rauch in meiner Zornesglut, ein loderndes Feuer, das fort und fort brennt.

Sehet, es steht geschrieben vor mir: Ich werde nicht schweigen, sondern ich werde zurückgeben und vergelten in ihren Schoß

eure Vergehungen und die Vergehungen eurer Väter zumal, spricht der Herr; die auf den Bergen opferten und auf den Hügeln mich lästerten, und ich werde ihr voriges Tun in ihren Schoß zurückmessen.

Also spricht der Herr: Wie wenn eine Beere sich an einer Traube findet und man sagt: Verdirb sie nicht, denn es ist ein Segen, so will ich handeln um meiner Knechte willen, so dass ich nicht das Ganze vernichte!

Und ich werde aus Jakob einen Samen hervorführen und aus Juda einen Erben meiner Berge und meine Auserwählten sollen das Land ererben und meine Knechte daselbst wohnen.

Das flache Land wird zu Schafhürden und das Tal Achor zu einer Lagerstätte der Rinder werden für mein Volk, das mich gesucht hat.

Und ihr, die ihr den Herrn verließet, die ihr meinen heiligen Berg vergaßet, die ihr dem Glück einen Tisch herrichtet und über ihn Trankopfer ausgießt,

euch will ich dem Schwerte hingeben und ihr sollt alle im Gemetzel stürzen; Deswegen weil ich rief und ihr antwortet nicht; ich sprach und ihr hörtet nicht und verübtet Böses unter meinen Augen, und was ich nicht wollte, erwähltet ihr.

Deswegen spricht der Herr, Gott, also: Sehet, meine Knechte werden essen und ihr werdet hungern; sehet, meine Knechte werden trinken und ihr werdet dürsten.

Sehet, meine Knechte werden sich freuen und ihr werdet zuschanden werden; sehet, meine Knechte werden aufjubeln vor Herzenswonne und ihr werdet schreien vor Schmerz des Herzens und heulen vor Herzensbetrübnis!

Und ihr werdet euren Namen meinen Auserwählten zum Schwure hinterlassen; der Herr, Gott, wird dich töten und seine Diener wird er mit einem andern Namen nennen.

Daher wird, wer auf Erden sich segnet bei dem wahrhaftigen Gott; und wer auf Erden schwört, wird bei dem wahrhaftigen Gott schwören; denn die früheren Drangsale sind vergessen und sind verborgen vor meinen Augen.

Die glorreiche neue Schöpfung

(Offenbarung 21,1-8)

Denn siehe, ich schaffe einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde und dessen, was vorher war, wird man nicht mehr gedenken noch wird es mehr in den Sinn kommen.

Vielmehr werdet ihr euch freuen und frohlocken auf ewig über das, was ich schaffe; denn siehe, ich schaffe Jerusalem um zu Jubel und sein Volk zu Freude.

Und ich will frohlocken über Jerusalem und mich freuen an meinem Volke und nicht wird ferner unter ihnen die Stimme des Klageschreies gehört werden.

Fernerhin wird dort nicht mehr ein Kind sein, das nur Tage lebt, kein Greis, der seine Tage nicht vollendet; denn der Knabe wird hundert Jahre alt sterben und der Sünder hundert Jahre alt dem Fluche anheimfallen.

Und sie werden Häuser bauen und bewohnen, Weinberge pflanzen und deren Früchte genießen.

Sie werden nicht bauen und ein anderer wird bewohnen, nicht pflanzen und ein anderer wir genießen, denn die Tage meines Volkes werden wie die Tage des Baumes und die Werke ihrer Hände werden dauernd sein.

Meine Auserwählten arbeiten nicht vergebens noch zeugen sie Kinder in Bedrängnis, denn sie sind die Nachkommenschaft der gesegneten des Herrn und ihre Enkel mit ihnen.

Und es geschieht, bevor sie rufen, werde ich sie erhören; und während sie noch reden, bin ich willfährig.

Wolf und Lamm werden miteinander weiden, Löwe und Rind werden Stroh fressen und der Schlange Nahrung wird Staub sein; sie werden nicht schaden noch töten auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge, spricht der Herr.
